Privacy management: The platform operates under strict privacy policies that govern the handling, usage, and sharing of personal information, promoting confidential data management and compliance with regulatory laws.
Visual and environment security: Visual regression testing and advanced environment controls help maintain test integrity and prevent unintended data exposure.
MagicPod releases updates frequently, typically every month, with release management handled through versioned deployments and public changelogs:
Monthly and quarterly updates: Product enhancements, browser version upgrades, and new feature releases appear at least once per month. Major upgrades and innovations tend to be announced at year-end or quarterly intervals.
Continuous feature rollouts: MagicPod iterates improvements regularly based on user feedback, platform changes, and security needs, ensuring up-to-date compatibility with new OS/browser versions and mobile devices.
Change management: Each update is listed with details of new features, breaking changes, and bug fixes in the official changelog and support documentation for customer transparency.
No manual maintenance: Updates, security patches, and infrastructure upgrades are automatically managed on the cloud. Customers do not have to perform manual updates or maintenance tasks.
MagicPod’s policy ensures that users retain ownership and copyright of the data and information they store on the platform while using the product or services. Users have control over their stored data and are granted the ability to export their test cases and information as needed for portability.

Data deletion: Account and data deletion requests can be made to MagicPod management for compliance with privacy and data removal needs.
MagicPod enables flexible scaling of subscriptions and resources to accommodate changing organizational requirements, with clear terms for upgrading or downgrading usage:
Add-ons: Users can increase cloud devices, test cases, projects, or branches at any time via add-on purchases. Pricing is based on incremental usage (e.g., $80/month for each additional add-on unit).
Downgrading: Organizations can reduce usage by removing add-ons or switching to a lower plan tier before the next payment cycle. No refunds are provided for underused resources within an already-invoiced period.
Upgrading: Teams can upgrade plans or purchase add-ons to unlock more projects, devices, or test capacity instantly; changes take effect within the current contract period.
Unlimited execution: Base plans include unlimited test runs and unlimited team members, so organizations can freely add users without extra cost.
Self-service management: All scaling actions—upgrades, downgrades, and add-ons—are managed within the account portal, providing transparency and agility.
MagicPod’s contract renewal and cancellation terms are outlined clearly for both monthly and annual plans, as well as enterprise agreements:
Renewal process: For annual plans, customers must submit a renewal application by the end date of their current contract to continue the service; otherwise, the contract will not automatically renew.
Cancellation procedure: Plans can be canceled at any time through the platform (go to Settings > Payment Info) before the end of the contract period.
Effective date: Cancellation takes effect at the end of the currently paid term (month or year); access to services continues until that date.
Refunds: Payments are typically non-refundable for periods already invoiced, and service remains available through the remainder of the term.
Enterprise/Custom contracts: Enterprise customers can negotiate custom contract terms, signing NDAs or addenda as needed, and can request special provisions in their renewal or termination conditions.
