Lumenore Insights
بواسطة Lumenore, Inc
Lumenore Insights typical implementation process:
Discovery and scoping (1–2 weeks): Define business objectives, key KPIs, target users, data sources, security needs, and success criteria with Lumenore’s team or a partner, often via workshops and solution walkthroughs.
Environment setup (days to 1 week): Provision the Lumenore Insights tenant (cloud or private deployment), configure SSO/roles, and set up basic governance, access controls, and workspaces.
Data integration and modeling (2–4 weeks): Use Lumenore Connect/Data Magnet to hook up core data sources, build schemas, and define datasets, including transformations, quality checks, and any required real-time or CDC pipelines.
Dashboard and storyboard build (2–3 weeks): Co-design priority dashboards, KPIs, and AI-powered storyboards with business stakeholders, iterating on layout, filters, and drill paths to match decision workflows.
AI & conversational setup (1–2 weeks, parallel): Configure Ask Me, automated insights, and alerts for key metrics so users can query data in natural language and receive proactive notifications.
Testing, UAT, and refinement (1–2 weeks): Validate data accuracy, performance, and security; run UAT with pilot users; refine calculations, visuals, and permissions before broader rollout.
Lumenore Insights can be heavily customized to fit specific business needs across UI, data, analytics, and deployment layers.
Customization options include fully custom dashboards and storyboards, where users choose schemas, build their own layouts, apply filters, define hierarchies, and tailor charts, colors, labels, and templates to reflect their KPIs and storytelling needs. Organizations can also configure custom measures, calculated attributes, what‑if parameters, and scenario models, enabling domain-specific metrics and simulations without coding.
Branding and embedding are also configurable: Lumenore supports white-labeling so administrators can adapt logos, colors, and text to match corporate identity, and embed dashboards inside third‑party or internal applications while managing embedded objects and UI behavior. At the platform level, role-based permissions, group management, data access policies, and organization-level settings allow fine-grained security and governance tailored to each business.
Lumenore Insights primarily uses a subscription model, and additional costs depend on plan, scale, and the level of services required. Public materials do not list a generic “setup fee” for all customers, but several categories of potential extra cost are implied:
Subscription tiers themselves (Grow, Essentials, Custom) scale by users, data size, connectors, and features, so moving to higher tiers increases ongoing license cost.
GenAI and advanced analytics usage is metered via “Lumenore Credits” for features such as conversational analytics, predictive and advanced analytics, which can add variable cost on top of base licensing in non-unlimited tiers.
Support is included at different levels: free/community support on entry plans, then community plus ticket-based support on paid tiers, with an upgrade option for prioritized/premium support that is priced as an add-on.
Lumenore Insights provides a mix of self-service learning, formal training, and multi-channel support aimed at helping new users onboard quickly. New customers typically start with guided onboarding via the in-product “Support” and “Onboarding” sections, which link to help articles, step-by-step setup guides, and best-practice workflows for connecting data, creating dashboards, and configuring security.
For structured learning, Lumenore offers a dedicated Learning Portal with free “how-to” training videos, fundamentals courses, and deep-dive modules that cover self-service analytics, dashboard and storyboard creation, advanced analytics, and the Ask Me conversational AI experience. These resources are complemented by certification-style curricula so new users, analysts, and admins can follow role-based learning paths and become proficient in building visualizations, KPIs, and governed workspaces.
Lumenore Insights implements multiple technical, organizational, and governance controls to protect customer data.
At the data layer, Lumenore uses encryption and fine-grained access control, including role-level and column-level security to protect data in the database, plus user‑ and row‑level security policies defined at the schema level so only authorized users can see specific records. Authentication can be enforced through various methods and integrated with enterprise identity systems, while audit trails and logging help monitor access and changes for compliance and forensics.
From a privacy and AI perspective, Lumenore states that its analytics and AI services primarily operate on metadata, and that raw customer data is not shared with external parties except in tightly controlled scenarios using Azure OpenAI, where data travels over encrypted channels with explicit user consent and support for “bring your own key” (BYOK) so customers control API keys. Lumenore leverages Microsoft Azure’s security and compliance certifications, implements Standard Contractual Clauses for international data transfers, and aligns its practices with GDPR, CCPA, and other global privacy regulations.
Lumenore Insights follows a frequent, incremental cloud-release model with updates published multiple times per quarter, and often several times per month when rolling out new AI and dashboard capabilities.
For cloud customers, new features are rolled out on Lumenore’s managed infrastructure, so most functional and AI enhancements appear automatically with no local upgrade effort. Each change is documented on the releases page with a short description and “Know More” links to deeper docs or tutorials, giving admins the option to review, test, and selectively adopt new capabilities such as AI agents, streaming connectors, or new dashboard behaviors.
Lumenore Insights’ core policy is that the customer (client) owns all data they load into the platform, and retains that ownership even after the contract ends. The End User / License Agreement explicitly states that the client “owns and will own all right, title and interest” in client data, while Lumenore only receives a limited license to use that data for providing the analytics services during the subscription term.
On portability, Lumenore supports data export and complies with data-subject rights such as access and data portability under regulations like GDPR, meaning customers can request transfer of personal data and are not locked into the platform. Practically, the product allows users to export dashboards and reports (e.g., to images/PDFs) and to work with open data formats via its connectors, enabling movement of data and analytics outputs into other systems when needed.
Lumenore Insights uses a subscription model that is deliberately designed to scale up or down with changing organizational needs.
From a commercial perspective, plans differ by users, data size, dashboards, jobs, and AI credits, and Lumenore states that customers can increase capacity by upgrading plans or purchasing add-ons for more users, storage, or Lumenore Credits as requirements grow. The FAQ clarifies that, if the contract is on a monthly billing model, organizations have the flexibility to upsize or downsize user licenses every month, adjusting entitlements as team size or usage changes. For larger deployments, the Custom tier allows all major levers—users, data volume, dashboards, schemas, refresh frequency, jobs, and AI credits—to be set “scalable based on needs,” effectively turning them into negotiable capacity parameters in the contract.
Lumenore Insights uses subscription terms with automatic renewal, flexible cancellation, and distinct rules for “convenience” vs “cause.”
Lumenore Insights is part of the Lumenore platform, which is positioned as compliant with several major security and privacy standards and frameworks.
