Farseer typical implementation process:
Initial consultation and requirements gathering: Farseer’s team engages with your organization to understand business needs, financial processes, and specific requirements. This sets the scope and objectives for implementation.
Data preparation and integration: Client data (from ERP, accounting, HR, and other systems) is prepared and mapped for migration. Farseer ensures compatibility and sets up integrations to create a centralized data source.
Platform configuration and customization: Features, workflows, and reporting structures are tailored to fit your organization's processes. Industry-specific templates (FMCG, pharma, etc.) are configured as required.
User training and onboarding: Finance and operations teams receive hands-on training to become proficient with Farseer’s tools, dashboards, and workflows. Support resources are provided for ongoing learning.
Testing and validation: Pilot runs and scenario tests are conducted to validate data accuracy, workflow logic, and reporting outputs before full deployment.
Farseer can be extensively customized across data models, workflows, analytics, and integrations to fit specific business needs, without heavy coding.
No-code model building and driver-based planning let teams tailor planning logic, assumptions, and KPIs to their own products, channels, regions, and cost structures, enabling instant drill-downs from top-down targets to SKU-level detail.
Configurable planning levels support top-down and bottom-up workflows, so each department can plan at its natural grain while maintaining a consolidated single source of truth across the enterprise.
Industry-specific templates for FMCG, pharma, retail, manufacturing, and telco can be adapted to unique organizational hierarchies, pricing rules, rebates, and compliance reporting needs.
Custom scenarios and what-if modeling allow bespoke assumptions for demand, pricing, discounts, and cost drivers, with real-time P&L impact visualization and versioning for executive reviews.
Flexible master data management lets organizations align custom dimensions and hierarchies (e.g., brands, SKUs, geographies, channels) and keep them synchronized with source systems.
Integration framework supports bespoke connectors and API-based data flows to ERP, HRIS, CRM, payroll, data warehouses, and BI tools; Farseer provides native and custom integration options to accommodate proprietary systems.
Custom reports and dashboards can be configured for executives, finance, and operational leaders, including tailored KPIs, variance analyses, and drill-through to transaction-level context where needed.
User permissions and governance models can be set to match organizational roles, approval chains, and segregation-of-duties requirements for compliant planning operations.
Workflow automation is configurable for submissions, approvals, reminders, and handoffs across functions, reducing manual effort and enforcing process discipline unique to each business.
FarseerAI can be tuned to specific forecasting horizons, seasonalities, and planning cadences, with transparent controls so finance teams can calibrate models to their data quality and market dynamics.
Implementation teams routinely adapt connectors, calculations, and templates to client contexts; published case examples show customized driver models distributing targets automatically and calculating rebates/margins per customer or product line in real time.
New users get a blend of hands-on onboarding, in-app guidance, certifications, and responsive support designed to minimize time-to-value while avoiding heavy consultant dependency.
Onboarding and setup: A structured implementation plan with vendor-led milestones focuses on clear goals, stakeholder alignment, data preparation, and adoption, with published commitments to fast go‑lives in weeks rather than months.
Ease-of-use by design: The product philosophy is to avoid steep learning curves so teams can start using Farseer without multi-day trainings, emphasizing intuitive, spreadsheet-native workflows that speed adoption.
Training resources: Foundational training is formalized via “Farseer Fundamentals” certifications covering collaboration, security, and integrations basics, with proof-of-completion certificates available to users.
Documentation and guides: Integration pages reference detailed support documentation and step-by-step guidance to help teams connect ERPs, HRIS, CRMs, and data sources with minimal friction.
Support channels: Users can reach the team by email and in-app live chat; error reporting is included for all customers, with defined SLA-style corrective steps and remediation timelines in the event of functional issues.
Farseer protects customer data with a certified, defense‑in‑depth program that combines standards-based governance, strong encryption, access controls, and isolated architecture.
Certifications and ISMS: The platform operates an ISO 27001-certified information security management system, with stated alignment to ISO/IEC 27017 for cloud controls and ISO/IEC 27018 for protection of personal data in cloud environments, backed by audits and continuous improvement practices.

24/7 monitoring: Security operations monitor the environment around the clock to detect and respond to threats promptly, reinforcing operational resilience.
Identity and access management: Role-based access control with support for internal and external authentication methods restricts sensitive data access to authorized users only, aligning with least-privilege principles.
Tenant isolation and availability: Customers run in isolated, single-tenant environments with dedicated application instances and databases; the platform is architected for high availability and elastic scaling to maintain performance and reduce blast radius.
Governance and responsibilities: Terms of use clarify confidentiality, integrity, and availability objectives, with customers retaining administrative control over user access and data entry, and obligations to prevent and report unauthorized use.
Farseer releases updates on an agile, rolling basis, with platform enhancements, new features, and bug fixes delivered continuously rather than on a rigid quarterly or annual schedule. Updates are especially frequent in areas like rolling forecasts, scenario modeling, and FarseerAI automation—often aligned with monthly financial cycles and current ERP data.
Update management is handled through the platform’s automated deployment and live environment model, where actuals and features flow directly into the user interface, eliminating manual patching or downtime. Finance teams receive immediate access to new planning logic, improved analytics, and feature rollouts as part of their subscription, with versioning and scenario tools supporting real-time collaboration and multiple forecast cases. Change notifications or new feature highlights are typically communicated within the platform and through periodic vendor communications, ensuring users always work with current data, logic, and functionality.
Farseer’s policy places control of business data with the customer, with contractual terms that emphasize confidentiality, integrity, availability, and customer administration over access and inputs, alongside GDPR-aligned rights for portability and deletion.
The client retains administrative control over data entry and access rights for authorized users, establishing customer primacy over how organizational data is captured and shared within the platform.
Clients are responsible for the accuracy, quality, legality, and permissions of the data they submit to Farseer, and for instructing Farseer on processing—reflecting a controller–processor model and affirming customer ownership of business content.
Farseer supports GDPR-aligned portability by allowing clients to export their data from the service in a structured manner, with the client owning decisions on what to move, where, and when; terms and privacy documentation reflect European data subject rights and organizational export obligations.
Personal data collected for service delivery is retained only as long as necessary for the purpose and can be transferred to third parties only where legally required or with prior consent, aligning with GDPR’s data minimization and transfer principles that underpin lawful portability practices.
Farseer contracts specify clear terms for renewal and cancellation, emphasizing transparency and customer rights throughout the lifecycle.
Contract Renewal: The agreement remains valid for the contracted period unless terminated earlier by either party according to specified conditions.
Renewal terms are typically established at contract signature, with provisions for extensions or renewed periods at the client’s option or mutual agreement.
Cancellation Notice: Either party may terminate the contract in case of significant non-fulfillment, including missed payments, breach of confidentiality, irregular performance, or other major violations. Termination requires written announcement and a two-month notice period before effective cancellation.
Termination for Cause: Cancellations are managed specifically in documented cases of major breaches—such as non-payment or other significant failures—often requiring formal documentation of reasons for ending the agreement.
Data Handling after Cancellation: Following contract termination, Farseer grants the client the right to export all data belonging to them from the platform. For up to 30 days post-termination, authorized users retain access to the Farseer application exclusively for the purpose of data storage and retrieval, after which all access rights are revoked.
Farseer meets stringent global compliance standards centered on financial data, security, privacy, and statutory reporting.
