Zygon

Rapid Shadow IT Discovery: Users consistently rave about how quickly the software identifies "hidden" apps. One reviewer noted they saw results within 15 minutes of onboarding, finding dozens of cloud applications their IT team wasn't aware were being used.

Ease of Deployment: Unlike traditional IGA tools (like SailPoint) which can take months to set up, Zygon is often described as "up and running in hours." Its native integration with Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 makes initial data ingestion seamless.

Simplified Access Reviews: A major highlight is the automated "Access Review" workflow. Users appreciate the ability to delegate reviews to specific "app owners" with one click, which replaces the manual, spreadsheet-heavy process usually required for compliance.

Effective Offboarding: The "offboarding bot" and clear dashboards for account deprovisioning receive high marks. Administrators feel more confident that a departing employee's access has been revoked across all apps, not just the ones connected via SSO.

Limited Workflow Automation: While the tool is great at discovery and reviews, some users have expressed a desire for more automation in the remediation phase. They mention that assigning resources to manage the tool still takes manual effort that they wish could be automated further.

Developing Roadmap: A common "dislike" is that the product is still evolving. Some power users feel they are "impatiently waiting" for specific advanced features that are on the roadmap but not yet live, noting that the team needs to "develop features faster" to keep up with organizational needs.

Learning Curve for Advanced Logic: Although basic use is simple, configuring complex alerting rules or managing "non-human identities" (service accounts/bots) can be slightly more technical and less intuitive than the primary dashboard.
