Tuskira, Inc. is an AI-native cybersecurity company headquartered in San Francisco, dedicated to revolutionizing enterprise security operations through preemptive defense. Launched out of stealth in late 2024, the company was established to address the critical 'noise-to-signal' ratio problem that plagues modern security teams. Tuskira’s mission is to move beyond the reactive state of the industry, where defenders are perpetually behind, and create a proactive environment where threats are neutralized before they manifest. The company’s primary differentiator is its 'Security Mesh' architecture, a data fabric that unifies telemetry from over 150 security tools, providing a single, coherent view of an organization’s risk posture. Tuskira is positioned at the intersection of Generative AI and Cybersecurity, leveraging domain-trained models to simulate attacks and validate defenses autonomously. Its strategic vision centers on empowering human analysts through 'Agentic AI,' allowing them to focus on high-level strategy while autonomous agents handle the monotonous tasks of triage and remediation.

Tuskira was founded in 2024 by a trio of seasoned cybersecurity entrepreneurs: Piyush Sharma (CEO), Om Moolchandani (CISO and CPO), and Vipul Parmar (CTO). The team previously founded Accurics, a pioneer in infrastructure-as-code security that was acquired by Tenable for $160 million in 2021. Drawing from their experience building breach path prediction technology at Accurics, the founders recognized a broader market need for a platform that could orchestrate data across the entire security stack, not just the cloud. They combined their collective background from industry leaders like Symantec, GE, and Equinix to solve the 'siloed tool' problem. Tuskira was born from the vision that the future of security would not be built on more tools, but on an intelligent layer of orchestration that could make existing tools work together as a synchronized system. The founders’ combined expertise in vulnerability management, data fabric technologies, and AI scalability provided the foundation for Tuskira's patented Security Mesh.

Tuskira made a massive entrance into the cybersecurity market, securing a total of $57 million in funding during its launch phase in late 2024. The capital was raised across two significant rounds: a $28.5 million Seed round announced on December 4, 2024, followed immediately by a $28.5 million Series B round on December 18, 2024. Both rounds were led by Intel Capital and SYN Ventures, reflecting strong investor confidence in the team and technology. Additional participation came from prominent venture capital firms including Sorenson Capital, Rain Capital, and Wipro Ventures, along with several high-profile security industry angels. This funding has been earmarked for rapid product innovation, particularly the refinement of the company’s patented AI technologies, the expansion of its system integrations library, and global market expansion. The involvement of Intel Capital is particularly strategic, given the focus on securing GenAI-driven infrastructure at scale.

Tuskira's primary offering is its Preemptive Cyber Defense and Response Platform, which is built on three core pillars: the Security Mesh, the Security Analytics & Intelligence Layer (SAIL), and the AI Analyst Workforce. The 'Security Mesh' is the foundational layer that integrates over 150 third-party security tools (like Crowdstrike, Zscaler, and Palo Alto Networks) into a unified data environment. 'SAIL' provides the analytical brain, using behavioral context and real-time behavioral simulation to calculate risk. The most recent addition to the portfolio is the 'AI Analyst Workforce,' launched at RSA 2025, which consists of a fleet of specialist AI agents such as the 'Zero-Day Analyst' and the 'Post-Breach Analyst.' These offerings are designed to cover use cases across Vulnerability Management, Security Operations (SOC), Application Security (AppSec), and GRC teams. Tuskira also offers a 'Unified API' for security engineers to build custom workflows and automate data access across the mesh.

Since emerging from stealth, Tuskira has pursued an aggressive expansion strategy focused on the North American and global enterprise markets. Headquartered in San Francisco, the company quickly established a presence at major industry events like the RSA Conference to drive brand awareness. Through its partnership with Wipro Ventures, Tuskira has gained access to a massive global distribution network, which is facilitating entry into international markets, including the GCC region and Europe. The company is actively expanding its engineering and product teams to support the growing library of integrations, which currently supports over 150 tools and is growing monthly. Tuskira's localization efforts focus on integrating with regional cloud providers and ensuring compliance with local data sovereignty laws (like GDPR and CCPA), making the platform suitable for multinational corporations with diverse geographic footprints.

Tuskira has maintained a rapid release cadence, with several major features added in the last 12-18 months. The most notable release was the launch of the 'AI Analyst Workforce' in April 2025, which introduced specialized agentic AI roles to autonomously manage threat triage and response. In August 2025, Tuskira introduced 'Autonomous SIEM Optimization,' a feature that uses AI to continuously evaluate detection coverage and tune rules to reduce false positives by up to 99%. Another significant recent addition is the 'Security Analytics & Intelligence Layer (SAIL),' which provides deep, context-aware analytics for board-level reporting on security ROI and risk reduction. The platform also recently enhanced its simulation engine to include 'Zero-Day Behavioral Simulation,' allowing teams to test their defenses against novel exploits before a patch is even available. These updates reflect Tuskira’s commitment to evolving its platform into a fully autonomous security 'mission control.'

Tuskira fosters a culture of innovation, excellence, and transparency, driven by a leadership team that values domain expertise and problem-solving. The company's work environment is described as fast-paced and mission-driven, with a focus on solving one of the most stressful problems in tech: analyst burnout. Tuskira promotes a hybrid work model that balances the collaborative energy of its San Francisco headquarters with the flexibility of a global, remote-friendly team. Company values emphasize 'measurable outcomes,' 'security by design,' and 'empathy for the defender.' Tuskira is also heavily involved in the broader security community through its 'AI Security Council (AISC),' a coalition of CISOs and researchers focused on defining the governance and security of AI in the enterprise. Diversity and inclusion efforts are integrated into the hiring process, ensuring a diverse range of perspectives from across the cybersecurity landscape, including former practitioners, researchers, and data scientists.

Tuskira actively engages with the cybersecurity community through several key initiatives. Most notably, the company founded the 'AI Security Council (AISC),' a strategic coalition of CISOs, researchers, and security practitioners dedicated to setting standards for AI governance and defense. This group provides a forum for industry leaders to share best practices and confront the challenges of autonomous threats. Tuskira also maintains a strong presence on platforms like LinkedIn and YouTube, sharing thought leadership, technical white papers, and 'Data Sheets' to educate the market on Cybersecurity Mesh Architecture (CSMA). The company hosts webinars and participation sessions at major conferences like RSA and Black Hat, fostering a developer-centric ecosystem through its Unified API. By providing open data access and encouraging community feedback, Tuskira is building a network of users who are not just customers, but active contributors to the evolution of preemptive defense strategies.
