Pricen began its journey in 2015 under the name Sniffie, originally launched in 2017 as a competitor price-monitoring app. Over the years, it grew into a full-featured AI-driven dynamic pricing platform used by over 1,000 retail and e-commerce brands in 30+ countries. In 2023, Sniffie rebranded as Pricen, signaling a shift toward enterprise-grade pricing optimization with a rebuilt platform emphasizing speed, intelligence, and usability.
Pricen is built as an AI-powered dynamic pricing platform, supporting complete price automation from baseline pricing to markdowns. The revamped 2025 release adds fast, scalable price optimization tailored for mid-size retailers.
Key capabilities include: elasticity-based demand modeling, real-time price updates across channels, promotional and markdown optimization, granular rule configuration, workflow editors, and predictive simulations.
Integrated with major ERP/PIM/e-commerce systems, it scales to handle millions of price updates per hour.
Pricen’s growth strategy includes strategic partnerships rather than acquisitions:
With the February 2025 platform release, Pricen introduced a redesigned UI/UX, adaptive AI algorithms, and greater performance. Recent updates include a Workflow Editor for visual pricing logic and new features addressing global tariff impacts. They update features continuously via cloud deployment.
Pricen’s values center around “Results through Passion and Freedom.” Their Careers page emphasizes customer-first, positivity, teamwork, responsibility, solution-oriented thinking, and accountability.
They foster an agile, transparent culture measured via daily huddles, frequent check-ins, and a results-driven mindset.
Pricen serves a global user base across industries like fashion, electronics, food, and industrial goods, supporting mid-sized to enterprise organizations in 30+ countries.
High-profile partners include Pierce Group, KIVALUE, Foodin, and Luxplus.
Pricen nurtures community engagement through partnerships, TED-style updates, forums, and FAQ-rich documentation.
