The platform is designed for rapid implementation, with users able to build and deploy their first agent in minutes, not weeks.
You begin by creating an account via the signup page, which is the first step in the official quickstart.
Lindy offers a guided Quickstart that walks you through building your first AI agent in about five minutes, demonstrating the core tools and workflow builder.
You describe what the agent should do in plain English. Lindy automatically converts this into an intelligent workflow using AI reasoning.
Lindy supports 3,000+ integrations, allowing your workflow to connect immediately with existing systems.
As explained in the technical breakdown from 4sysops, Lindy uses four core elements:
Lindy allows real‑time testing through its dashboard. Many users can build multiple agents in under an hour—for example, the CEO demonstrates building six AI agents in 37 minutes.
Agents can be added to email threads, Slack channels, websites, phone systems, and more. Deployment is instant and does not require engineering work.
For enterprises, Lindy provides:
Lindy is highly customizable, and customization is one of the platform’s core selling points. It supports deep, flexible tailoring in the following ways:
Users can build specialized agents through simple prompts — no coding required. This allows unlimited customization across use cases like sales, support, ops, HR, finance, and marketing.
The platform enables fully custom logic using its workflow engine:
Lindy has templates but also supports custom builds for:
Businesses can tailor their agents to their exact tech stack using thousands of integrations, including:
Enterprise plans provide:
Knowledge bases can be built from:
Lindy is model‑agnostic, allowing businesses to choose the best AI engine:
Lindy Phone allows customization:
Businesses can add:
Businesses can deploy multiple agents that collaborate—each tailored to a separate business function (sales, support, ops).
If you exceed your monthly usage, extra credits can be purchased at $10 per 1,000 credits. This applies across plans.
Under the Pro plan, adding team members costs $19.99 per seat.
Phone usage is limited by plan:
Enterprise plans include:
There is no publicly stated setup fee, no infrastructure maintenance fee, and no system update charges—these are included in SaaS operation. All updates are automatic.
Lindy provides extensive training resources through the Lindy Academy, which offers lessons, guides, and onboarding content for new users learning how to build and deploy AI agents.
The official Quickstart walks users through building their first agent in five minutes, providing easy onboarding for beginners.
The documentation covers fundamentals, workflow design, triggers, conditions, actions, knowledge bases, integrations, and troubleshooting—serving as a complete self‑training resource.
Lindy has a large active community, including:
Enterprise plans include:
Users can choose from hundreds of pre-built templates spanning sales, support, meetings, operations, and more—great for onboarding.
Lindy implements strong, enterprise‑grade security standards, according to the official enterprise documentation.
Lindy is SOC 2 compliant, meaning it meets strict industry standards for data security, integrity, and confidentiality.
Lindy meets HIPAA regulatory requirements, enabling secure handling of protected health information (PHI) for medical workflows, including their medical scribe product.
Lindy is compliant with PIPEDA, ensuring the protection of personal information in Canadian jurisdictions.
The platform includes:
Knowledge bases are tenant-specific and segmented, preventing cross‑contamination of data between organizations. (Documented in security and platform specs.)
Organizations can manually approve sensitive tasks, ensuring safe execution when handling critical or regulated data.
Lindy Phone supports secure call routing, multi-language handling, and isolated processing of voice workflows.
Lindy does not publish a fixed “release cadence,” but available evidence shows that updates are released continuously and documented through release notes.
Lindy provides a “Release Notes Drafter” template, which includes real examples such as “Release v1.8: new features, improvements, fixes, and breaking changes”. This confirms that the platform releases versioned updates and documents them regularly, implying frequent updates.
Because Lindy is a cloud SaaS platform, all updates are pushed automatically to users — there is no need for manual installation, maintenance, or patching. This is reinforced by the fact that Lindy’s features and integrations are instantly available across user accounts (e.g., new integrations, workflow features, and phone capabilities).

Lindy’s data policies are described across the Terms of Service, Privacy Notice, and the MyLindy platform’s data handling disclosures.
Under the MyLindy terms (serving the same ecosystem), users retain ownership of “User Content”, meaning any data, documents, or materials uploaded or processed remain the property of the customer—not Lindy.
Lindy is granted a non‑exclusive, worldwide, royalty‑free license to process and use the content only as needed to provide the service.
This implies users can retrieve or delete their stored information upon request.
MyLindy specifies that AI data processing does not train third‑party models without explicit user consent, demonstrating controlled data handling and user ownership.
Lindy confirmed in the community that they are not yet GDPR compliant, but are “finalizing GDPR compliance posture.” This is important for organizations needing strict portability guarantees.
Lindy provides high flexibility for scaling subscription plans, credits, and usage.
Community discussions confirm that users can upgrade or downgrade plans through the account interface. Users can adjust plans (e.g., from 70,000 credits to 50,000 credits) directly from the “upgrade/downgrade” menu.
A support thread shows a user requesting an immediate renewal date change to evaluate a plan upgrade. Lindy support confirmed they can move renewal dates manually.
When upgrading, users receive:
Like many SaaS platforms, downgrades appear to take effect at renewal—evidenced by user threads requesting assistance with downgrading.
Enterprise tier includes:
Lindy subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date. Evidence comes from user reports stating they were charged due to missing the cancellation before renewal.
Lindy’s systems require that cancellation occur before the renewal, or the subscription will automatically renew and charge the account. Users who miss this deadline must request a refund manually.
Cancellation is done through the Billing section of the Lindy dashboard:
Steps (per official cancellation guide):
For Apple App Store or Google Play purchases, cancellation must be done through their respective subscription portals.
A trial will automatically convert to a paid subscription if not canceled. Some users report difficulty canceling in the desktop app, indicating cancellations must be done from the billing portal.
Refunds for auto‑renewals are not guaranteed but may be granted at Lindy’s discretion if the subscription was unused—demonstrated by a case where a user requested a refund for an unused automatic renewal.
Lindy support can manually adjust renewal dates on request—useful when scaling plans.
Lindy’s official Terms of Service include a dedicated “Cancellation” section (Section 6), though the snippet does not contain its full text. It confirms that cancellation is governed by formal Terms published by Lindy.
Lindy meets the following compliance standards:
GDPR: Not yet compliant (compliance in progress).
Lindy additionally offers enterprise‑grade governance features, but they are not compliance certifications.
