Health Recovery Solutions (HRS) provides comprehensive training and support for new users to ensure smooth onboarding and long-term success with its remote patient monitoring and telehealth platform.
New users benefit from a dedicated implementation launch process, which includes step-by-step handholding, project management, and executive support during rollout and setup.
Clinical experts from HRS, with years of hands-on experience, are involved in building and training clinical operations teams, ensuring users acquire skills to run high-quality, patient-centered, and efficient remote care programs.
The platform offers resources and best-practice guidance designed by clinicians for clinicians, covering everything from pre-enrollment workflows to post-discharge procedures.
HRS clients receive ongoing collaboration and project management from HRS staff, with available support that extends beyond initial onboarding.
Specialized teams—including clinical advisory, logistics, support, and reimbursement experts—partner with organizations to address real-world challenges, optimize workflows, and solve billing or reimbursement questions.
Support covers logistics, inventory management, and device provisioning, allowing healthcare providers to offload back-end complexity and focus on patient care.
HRS also provides actionable data insights and performance reports to help organizations optimize their virtual care programs and make data-driven improvements.
Health Recovery Solutions (HRS) implements a comprehensive set of security measures to protect patient data and ensure privacy and regulatory compliance.
HRS applies “appropriate technical and organizational security measures” to safeguard any personal and health-related information processed on its platforms.
The company’s security program incorporates data encryption protocols to secure data both in transit and at rest, significantly reducing the risk of unauthorized access or breach.
HRS has completed third-party security audits and built its program to meet rigorous standards like SOC 2, which evaluates controls relevant to security, availability, and confidentiality of data.
The platform is designed and operated in compliance with HIPAA guidelines, ensuring health information security and meeting U.S. regulatory obligations for telehealth and remote monitoring solutions.
Health Recovery Solutions (HRS) operates under industry-standard healthcare data practices, but does not publish a detailed public policy on data ownership and portability directly on their main website or documentation.
HRS collects and manages protected health information (PHI) on behalf of healthcare providers, acting as a business associate under HIPAA regulations.
Clinical and patient data generated through the HRS platform generally remains the property of the healthcare provider (the client organization), while HRS manages and processes this data as part of their service role.
The company’s privacy policy outlines what categories of data are collected and used, but specific language regarding the exclusive ownership rights of providers or patients is handled at the contract level.
HRS systems support real-time data exchange and integration with electronic health records (EHR) for enrolled patients, enabling transfer and interoperability of patient health information.
This integration and compliance with HIPAA portability principles ensure healthcare organizations can access and transfer patient data as needed for care or regulatory requests.
While HRS supports interoperability, explicit details on standardized data export formats or formal patient-request portability processes are not publicly described; these are typically clarified in individual contract agreements.
HIPAA, which governs HRS’s data and privacy practices, grants patients the right to access and obtain a copy of their health information, supporting the principle of data portability.
Health Recovery Solutions (HRS) generally structures its contract renewal and cancellation terms according to industry norms for enterprise healthcare technology but does not publish a detailed, universal public policy. Here are the key available data points:
HRS contracts typically range from 24 to 60 months, depending on the client’s needs and negotiated terms, with longer contracts often resulting in discounted rates.
Larger healthcare providers seeking a strategic partnership are encouraged to consider multi-year agreements (up to 5 years), while shorter contracts may be available for smaller organizations or pilot programs.
The presence of renewal or auto-renewal clauses is common with enterprise healthcare technology vendors, and may revert to month-to-month or set-term renewals if not renegotiated before expiration.
Providers are typically advised to review their contracts for specific renewal terms, which may include automatic extensions unless advanced written notice of cancellation is provided (the industry norm is usually 30-90 days before the renewal date).
Early termination before the contract end-date may be subject to penalties or require the client to pay outstanding fees for the remaining contract period, depending on the negotiated agreement.
Contracts generally include language for termination in the event of a material breach by either party; the terms and required notice will be specified in the contract.
HRS may occasionally allow short-term or pilot arrangements that can be ended with shorter notice, but standard cancellations often require advance written notice within the period outlined in the agreement.
If dissatisfied, clients are typically required to follow the official contract cancellation process as stipulated, and failure to do so may lead to automatic renewal and corresponding obligations.
Health Recovery Solutions (HRS) software adheres to a set of well-established healthcare and data security compliance standards designed for telehealth and remote patient monitoring environments.
HRS is fully compliant with HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act), ensuring the privacy and security of electronic protected health information (ePHI) for all users of its telehealth and remote patient monitoring solutions.
This involves implementing physical, technical, and administrative safeguards as outlined in the HIPAA Security Rule, and applying the principle of minimum necessary access.
HRS has undergone independent security reviews and built its data protection program to meet the rigorous requirements of SOC 2 (System and Organization Controls 2), which evaluates the system’s controls related to security, availability, and confidentiality.
The platform’s interoperability with more than 40 EHR/EMR systems suggests adherence to health IT and interoperability standards, supporting regulatory requirements for healthcare software integrations.
