Farseer is a fast-growing technology company specializing in cloud-based financial planning, forecasting, and analytics software for medium to large enterprises. Established with a mission to dethrone Excel and elevate finance teams from operational number crunchers to strategic business partners, Farseer has positioned itself as an innovator in driving efficiency and agility within FP&A, budgeting, and reporting processes.
Farseer was founded in Zagreb, Croatia, with its main office set in a historic Austrian-Hungarian villa—a reflection of its eclectic, people-centric company culture. The company later expanded to London to fuel international growth. From its inception, Farseer targeted pain points in enterprise financial management, aiming to deliver a platform that eliminates spreadsheet chaos, maintains robust data integrity, and fosters collaboration. Rapid market adoption within finance, manufacturing, retail, FMCG, pharma, and telco sectors drove the company’s scaling ambitions.
Farseer’s flagship solution is a unified cloud platform for end-to-end financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and scenario modeling. Key features include driver-based planning, rolling forecasts, multi-level collaborative workflows, and automated budgeting. The system leverages FarseerAI for accelerated demand forecasts and predictive analytics, accessible both within the app and through WhatsApp. Farseer supports connections and integrations to ERP, HR, payroll, and accounting software, providing flexibility across industries and enabling complex, multi-entity workflows. Its intuitive design minimizes training needs and maximizes adoption, serving as a single source of truth for all financial and operational data. Advanced analytics and customizable dashboards empower users to perform what-if analysis, P&L simulations, KPI tracking, and regulatory/statutory reporting with speed and reliability.
Recent innovations include seamless API-based integrations, rolling forecasts with real-time scenario planning, extended support for statutory and regulatory compliance (IFRS, GAAP, GDPR, ISO 27001), and expanded capabilities in master data management for large groups. FarseerAI has simplified complex forecasting and brought natural-language support to finance queries. New release cycles are continuous and agile, with platform enhancements and bug fixes deployed invisibly and instantly to all clients, ensuring frictionless access to the latest tools.
Farseer promotes an open, dynamic, and inclusive culture centered on autonomy, user empowerment, and transparency. The work environment values curiosity, ownership, and team connection, with a clear commitment to growth and well-being; its offices are designed for comfort, creativity, and collaboration. The culture is notably people-driven—as seen in testimonials and interviews—with reliability, support, and simplicity regarded as cornerstones of client engagement and employee satisfaction. The product design reflects these ethos: built for usability, ongoing improvement, and minimal reliance on external consultants.
Trusted by clients across a spectrum of sectors—including major telecoms, pharma, FMCG companies, multinational retailers, and manufacturing conglomerates—Farseer’s user base is both diverse and loyal. Testimonials highlight dramatic improvements in speed, reporting quality, user adoption, and data accuracy. The community includes finance controlling directors, demand planners, CFOs, and strategic project leaders, all echoing the platform's role in transforming their planning processes. Engagements are supported by responsive product support, collaborative onboarding, certification programs, and peer-driven feedback.
