Cloudimage is a cloud-based Image & Video CDN (content delivery and optimization platform) developed and operated by Scaleflex. It automates on‑the‑fly transformations (resize, crop, compress, format conversion, watermark, filters) and accelerates delivery via multi‑CDN partners (e.g., Akamai, Fastly, CloudFront), improving Core Web Vitals, SEO, and user experience with minimal code changes. Cloudimage is part of the broader Scaleflex Visual Experience Platform (VXP) that also includes Digital Asset Management (DAM) and Visual AI modules.
Scaleflex lists official offices in Lyon (HQ), Atlanta, and Sofia, and runs a globally distributed infrastructure and support; Cloudimage is delivered as a SaaS with customers across e‑commerce, media, SaaS apps, and marketplaces.
Scaleflex (the company behind Cloudimage) was founded in 2016 and has grown as a B2B SaaS focused on media optimization and asset management. The Cloudimage product itself has matured through multiple major versions (notably v6 → v7), with continuous feature releases documented in public docs and help center content. Growth is evidenced by claims of 1,000+ brands using Cloudimage, multi‑CDN coverage in 130+ countries and frequent case studies with recognizable customers.
In 2025, Scaleflex announced “The New Cloudimage 2025” — a significant refresh bundling an integrated Asset Library, AI features (auto‑tagging, smart alt text, background removal), and video processing, alongside a new pricing structure (Essential, Grow, Scale, Enterprise).
Scaleflex/Cloudimage do not publicly disclose venture funding rounds or valuation figures on official pages, and major databases and product listings emphasize features and pricing rather than financing. Public marketplace profiles and review sites (G2, Software Advice, OMR Reviews) do not cite formal funding rounds; they focus on product tiers, customer adoption, and case studies. Therefore, as of December 2025, no verified funding or valuation data is available in reputable public sources.
