TaxiCaller is a Swedish company that specializes in developing cloud-based taxi dispatch software. Founded in 2011, the company provides a comprehensive solution that includes passenger and driver applications, online booking, e-hailing, and a dispatch system. TaxiCaller caters to taxi, limo, private hire, and car service companies, offering a reliable and cost-effective platform to streamline their operations.
TaxiCaller was founded in 2011 by Swedish engineers with backgrounds in telecom and transport. Since its inception, the company has grown significantly, establishing a global presence in over 70 countries. The company's growth has been driven by its innovative approach to dispatching and its ability to adapt to the evolving needs of the transport industry.
TaxiCaller is a privately held company with a strong track record of profitable growth. The company has received grant funding, including a notable grant of $55.1K from the EIC Fund in 2019. The company's valuation is not publicly disclosed, but its consistent growth and global reach suggest a robust financial standing.
TaxiCaller offers an all-in-one dispatch solution that includes a dispatch console, passenger app, driver app, and online booking system. Key features include real-time tracking, automated dispatching, caller ID and VoIP integration, custom analytics tools, and replay functions for tracking vehicle routes. The platform supports multiple booking channels, such as passenger apps, web booking forms, and reception booking tools, catering to diverse customer preferences.
TaxiCaller has focused on expanding its product offerings and enhancing its features through strategic partnerships rather than acquisitions. For example, the company partnered with Flexbuss, a Swedish transport company, to develop a tailored solution that improved operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. This approach has allowed TaxiCaller to continuously innovate and meet the specific needs of its clients.
TaxiCaller regularly updates its software to introduce new features and improvements. Recent updates have included enhanced route optimization, improved real-time tracking, and more intuitive driver and dispatcher apps. These updates are managed seamlessly through the cloud, ensuring that users always have access to the latest features without the need for manual installations.
TaxiCaller values innovation, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency. The company fosters a collaborative and supportive work environment, encouraging employees to contribute ideas and take ownership of their projects. Despite some mixed reviews on platforms like Glassdoor, many employees appreciate the company's innovative product and the opportunities to make a significant impact.
TaxiCaller serves a diverse user base that includes taxi companies, limo services, and private hire businesses across the globe. The company has built a strong community of users who rely on its software to streamline their operations and improve service quality. TaxiCaller provides extensive support resources, including a knowledge base, interactive manuals, and 24/7 customer support, ensuring that users can get the help they need whenever they need it.
