SecureSheet
بواسطة SecureSheet Technologies, LLC.
SecureSheet follows a structured, collaborative implementation process to transform your Excel models into secure, cloud-based applications, typically completed within four to six weeks:
1. Kick-off & Planning (Week 1): The SecureSheet team collaborates with your project leads and administrators to gather compensation/business process requirements, define milestones (e.g., testing start, manager roll-out, lockout dates), and identify user roles and populations.
2. Excel File Upload & Review (Week 1): You upload your existing Excel files into a sandbox environment. SecureSheet validates its structure and compatibility.
3. Business Views & Working Model Setup (Weeks 1–2): Administrators define “Users‑Views” (i.e., permission logic by role or email). SecureSheet constructs a working model and reviews it with your team to refine visibility, submission processes, and summary calculations.
4. Configuration of SSO & Statements (Weeks 2–4): If required, SecureSheet sets up single sign-on (SSO). You then upload compensation statement templates and map fields. The team reviews and fine-tunes these with you.
5. Client Testing & Iteration (Weeks 2–4): Your team conducts end-to-end tests using role-based impersonation—checking formulas, views, totals, and statements. SecureSheet refines configurations iteratively.
6. Data Refresh & Training (Weeks 3–4): Once the end-of-cycle dataset is finalized, it's loaded or refreshed. SecureSheet provides knowledge transfer sessions on import/export tasks and administers training for your key users.
7. Go-Live & Support (Week 4–6): After final approval, SecureSheet activates the platform for users and offers 1–2 weeks of post-launch support.
8. Continuous Improvement (Ongoing): Following go-live, periodic debriefs and refinements are conducted based on feedback to optimize future cycles.
SecureSheet is highly customizable to align with your organization’s unique processes and data needs across multiple dimensions:
1. Existing Excel Models: Upload your own Excel templates—including formulas, formatting, named ranges, data validations, and conditional logic. SecureSheet preserves these seamlessly during conversion.
2. Business Views & Role-Based Access: Create distinct “Views” for different user roles (e.g., managers, HR, payroll). Permissions can be applied at the sheet, row, column, or even cell level—controlling both view and edit rights.
3. Custom Reporting & Statements: Import organizational statement templates and map fields to SecureSheet data cells. Statements can be uniquely formatted per employee, using your organization's branding and structure.
4. SSO & Integration: Integrate with your identity provider through single sign-on (SSO) using metadata files and certificates. API support and custom import/export routines enable seamless data exchanges.
5. Localization & Format Configs: Adjust number, currency, and date formatting, while language setting options cater to multinational needs.
6. User Experience Automation: Define submission workflows, enable submission deadlines, lock sheets or rows upon approval, and impersonate roles to verify configurations.
7. Sandbox Testing Environment: A dedicated sandbox allows early-stage model testing, formula validation, and access simulations before platform-wide rollout.
8. Ongoing Admin Controls: After initial deployment, admins can refresh data, update formula logic, adjust user access, and manage sheet/layer security settings dynamically.
9. Support & Professional Services: SecureSheet’s team assists in every customization phase—from evaluating spreadsheet architecture and data requirements to delivering training and expert support tailored to your needs.
In essence, SecureSheet offers extensive configurability—allowing you to convert your established spreadsheet workflows into a secure, customized SaaS application. Everything from data visibility rules to visual templates and authentication flows can be tailored to support your specific business requirements.
SecureSheet follows a monthly subscription model at $42.50 per user, with no additional license or maintenance fees beyond standard subscription costs. Implementation and basic configuration are included within the subscription, but there are optional professional services and support—such as advanced design, data migration, custom testing, or dedicated consulting—that are billed separately on a time-and-materials basis. There are no routine maintenance fees, as updates and patches are managed centrally through the cloud platform. Essentially, additional costs arise only if you request custom services beyond the core offering.
SecureSheet provides structured onboarding support to ensure smooth implementation and adoption:
SecureSheet implements a robust security framework based on industry best practices and certifications:
Data at Rest & In Transit Encryption: All data is encrypted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) and stored securely behind firewalls.
Access Controls: User authentication is enforced with individual IDs and passwords. Role- and cell/row-level permissions ensure strict data visibility rules.
SOC 2 Type II Certification: Independent verification of internal controls for security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy, audited by KirkpatrickPrice.
Procedural Safeguards: Use of robust firewalls, operational policies, and technical monitoring systems to prevent unauthorized access.
Audit Logs & Monitoring: Comprehensive action logging enables traceability of edits, access attempts, and administrative activities.
SecureSheet's policy firmly supports customer ownership of data. Organizations can export their SecureSheets and configurations (including sharing settings and view definitions) at any time using the platform’s built-in Export functions, enabling full data portability. This capability allows businesses to keep local backups or migrate data if necessary. The platform also implements automated backups every morning, retained for seven days—allowing recovery of recent edits within the system.
Complementing this, SecureSheet’s Privacy Policy and Data Processing Amendment (DPA) clarify that customers are the data controllers, preserving legal rights and obligations under privacy regulations like GDPR. SecureSheet functions as the data processor, with full transparency on data handling, deletion procedures, and incident protocols. All personal data processing arrangements can be formally documented through a DPA.
SecureSheet offers a highly flexible subscription model designed for dynamic scaling. License terms require an initial commitment to a minimum user count—typically 25 users for at least three months—but licenses can be increased or decreased as organizational needs change. Administrators can request additional user licenses or renewals by contacting SecureSheet Support, with usage-based billing ensuring costs reflect actual headcount.
From an administrative perspective, the platform allows management of multiple SecureSheets: active, hidden, or archived, supporting cyclical data management and seasonal load fluctuations. As employees are added or leave, admins can adjust layer access or archive older cycles in line with data retention policies.
SecureSheet’s Terms of Use outline the following key points regarding renewal and cancellation:
License Term Definition: Licenses are granted to named users and are both non-transferable and non-sublicensable. The term continues until canceled or until the licensee fails to pay fees.
SecureSheet adheres to several recognized standards and security frameworks:
