MedicsPremier

MedicsPremier is a flagship practice management software developed by Advanced Data Systems Corporation (ADSC), a U.S.-based healthcare IT company headquartered in Paramus, New Jersey. ADSC specializes in medical billing, electronic health records (EHR), radiology information systems (RIS/PACS), and revenue cycle management (RCM) solutions. MedicsPremier is designed to streamline administrative, financial, and clinical workflows for healthcare providers, offering a robust suite of tools for billing, scheduling, claims management, and patient engagement.

ADSC was founded in 1977 and has remained privately owned and independent throughout its history. The company has never changed its name, been acquired, or discontinued any of its core products—a rare feat in the healthcare software industry. Over the decades, ADSC has evolved its offerings to meet the changing demands of healthcare providers, with MedicsPremier emerging as one of its most advanced and widely adopted solutions.

ADSC is a debt-free, bootstrapped company that has not raised external funding. It operates profitably, with an estimated annual revenue of $16.8 million and a workforce of approximately 100 employees. The company’s valuation is not publicly disclosed, but its consistent growth and long-standing client relationships suggest a stable financial foundation.

MedicsPremier offers a comprehensive suite of features, including:

• Automated billing and EDI processing
• Real-time insurance eligibility verification
• Claim denial management and ICD-10 code conversion
• Advanced appointment scheduling and workflow automation
• Integrated document scanning and patient demographics management
• Patient portal and credit card payment integration
• Optional modules like MedicsRx (e-prescribing) and MediCall (automated patient communication)

The platform is available as both a cloud-hosted subscription and a standalone on-premise system, with extensive customization options for different specialties and practice sizes.

ADSC has maintained a no-acquisition policy, choosing instead to grow organically and expand its product suite through internal development. MedicsPremier has evolved over 30 years, incorporating new technologies like mobile access (Medics On-Call), AI-driven claim scrubbing, and specialty-specific modules.

Recent enhancements to MedicsPremier include:

• WindowOne™: A dynamic interface that displays all relevant patient data in a single window.
• MedicsRx: A standalone e-prescribing module for non-EHR practices.
• Medics On-Call: Mobile access for providers using smartphones and tablets.
• Automated patient reminders via SMS, email, and voice
• Entity architecture: Allows financial segregation by provider or tax ID.

ADSC fosters a culture rooted in entrepreneurial spirit, innovation, and customer-centric service. The company emphasizes six core values shared across its team, including integrity, accountability, and collaboration. Employees describe the environment as productive and supportive, with opportunities for growth in healthcare IT. ADSC maintains its own programming, training, and support departments, ensuring tight control over product quality and customer experience.
