I have found Business ByDesign to be an excellent platform with great features for managing a company that is growing quickly and may outgrow other systems.

Pros

I love that this product can be customized to your company and industry specifications and that it has cloud benefits.

Cons

There are only a few things I don't like about the system. Sometimes support can be slow, depending on the vendor and support team/system you use.

I've been working with the SAP resource management tool for more than three years, and it's one of the best employee performance managing tools I've ever seen.

Pros

The system is easy to implement and can be accessed from anywhere. Each employee can input their tasks according to their job description and describe their performance during the year. Individual employees can be rated on each task and this rating will be more visible to their line manager during the review process.

Cons

When it comes to the year-end review process, most employees are engaging with the SAP system and sometimes we experience delays in response. This may be due to connectivity issues (bandwidth). Other than that, the system is very user-friendly and easy to access.

Pros

I use this software for my monthly bank reconciliations and financial reporting. I love that it shows me real-time data of my bank balances and that I can generate multiple reports simultaneously. The data is always accurate and it's easy to clear items for Accounts Payable.

Cons

There are a lot of features in this software that you wouldn't use in an accounting context, and it's not very easy to learn.
